The New Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, the latest tablet line-up from the South Korean giant, Samsung Electronics was unveiled last Sunday at Mobile World Congress 2011 that was held in Barcelona, Spain.
Powered by 3.0 Honeycomb,
the latest version of Google's Android OS which is specifically designed for tablet computers. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 measured 25.7 cm (1280 x 800 WXGA TFT display) and 10.9-mm (0.43 inches) thick and weight weight 599 grams. A bit bigger than its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab 7.1 which was unveiled last year.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 has dual surround-sound speakers, supports WiFi a/b/g/n and also HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps. With camera on both sides, an 8.0 megapixel (rear-facing) with LED Flash and a 2-megapixel (front-facing), capable for video calling and picture taking.
The device also includes 1 GHz CPU, an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core internal processor, 16GB/32GB memory and 6860mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be available in some European and Asian markets in the next few months.
